Sulfadimidine shows bactericidal action against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, such as Corynebacterium, E.coli, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Pasteurella, Salmonella, and Streptococcus spp. Sulfadimidine is also known by the name of sulfamethazine or sulfadiazine.
