Paracetamol + Ibuprofen + Caffeine Tablets are used for the short-term relief of pain, inflammation, and fever. It is used to reduce symptoms associated with many conditions such as arthritis, headache, toothache, and primary dysmenorrhea.
This drug is indicated for adults and children over 12 years old.
Each tablet contains three active ingredients: paracetamol, ibuprofen, and caffeine.
Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is classified as an analgesic (pain reliever or painkiller) and antipyretic (fever reducer).
Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Ibuprofen also has a mild but short-lived antiplatelet effect.
Caffeine is in the methylxanthine class of stimulants. Though it is typically used to increase alertness, this drug increases the efficacy of analgesics when used as an adjuvant.

Precautions
Do NOT use Paracetamol + Ibuprofen + Caffeine Tablets if:

- You have had a severe allergic reaction to aspirin, tartrazine, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) (e.g., celecoxib, ibuprofen, naproxen).
- You are taking an NSAID or another medicine that contains paracetamol.
- You have liver disease or a history of alcoholism.
- You have severe kidney problems.
This medication may not be suitable for people with certain conditions, including:
- chronic alcohol use
- arrhythmia
- cardiovascular disease
- diabetes mellitus
- electrolyte imbalances
- GERD or gastrointestinal bleeding
- kidney or liver disease
- hypertension
- hyperthyroidism
- severe hypovolemia
This medicine should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if the benefits outweigh the risks. Consult a doctor or healthcare professional before treatment.
Many drugs are known to interact with paracetamol + caffeine, including antidepressants, cyclosporine, ephedrine, rifampin, theophylline, lithium, methotrexate, blood thinners, medicine for blood pressure or heart disease, and steroids, including lidocaine topical and prilocaine topical.
