Oxytetracycline HCl + Folic Acid + Calcium Pantothenate + Multivitamin Soluble Powder is an antibiotic and nutritional supplement for poultry, cows, goats, and sheep. It can be used to treat or prevent illness like gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible microorganisms.
Oxytetracycline HCl is a broad-spectrum antibiotic in the tetracycline family. It is derived from the fermented product of Streptomyces rimosus. Oxytetracycline works by inhibiting protein synthesis in the bacteria. It is active against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Diplococcus pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli. It also shows action against Chlamydia, Rickettsia, and spirochetes.
Folic acid, calcium pantothenate, and multivitamin have been added to help improve the condition of animals during periods of disease and stress. These added components help stimulate egg production, increase growth, and improve feed conversion.
