What is the Newcastle + IB + EDS + Avian Influenza Vaccine?
Active Ingredients: Newcastle Disease Inactivated Virus, Infectious Bronchitis Inactivated Virus, EDS Inactivated Virus, Avian Influenza Inactivated Virus
Newcastle Disease + Infectious Bronchitis + Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS) + Avian Influenza Vaccine is a combination vaccine used for poultry. Without vaccination, these diseases may cause high mortality rates, decreased weight gain, reduced egg production, and many other issues leading to economic losses for farms.
Newcastle Disease + Infectious Bronchitis + Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS) + Avian Influenza Vaccine is a convenient treatment option, as it targets all four viruses. Active vaccination prevents or reduces the severity of infections.
Newcastle Disease is caused by an RNA virus that belongs to the genus Avulavirus within the Paramyxoviridae family. It is typically spread through respiratory and fecal matter. Though some strains of the virus only produce mild respiratory symptoms, some strains have a high mortality rate and may cause severe neurological problems in surviving poultry.
Infectious Bronchitis is highly contagious and can quickly infect an entire flock. Once infected, there is no cure, but vaccination can prevent infection caused by susceptible strains. The Infectious Bronchitis virus is classified in the genus Gammacoronavirus within the family Coronaviridae.
Avian Influenza may be caused by many subtypes of the Influenza A virus. Certain strains of this virus may cause severe symptoms in poultry, including sudden death.
Egg Drop Syndrome is particularly common in laying hens. Without vaccination, the infection may cause reduced egg production, poor hatchability, or decrease egg quality. Though many poultry recovers within 2 weeks, the economic impact on egg production can be significant. The Egg Drop Syndrome virus (EDSV) belongs to the genus Atadenovirus and is sometimes called Duck Adenovirus 1.
