What is Ivermectin + Clorsulon?
Active Ingredients: Ivermectin, Clorsulon
Ivermectin + Clorsulon Injection is an anthelmintic combination drug used to treat a wide range of internal and external parasites in cows, camels, goats and sheep. It is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms, sucking lice, mange mites, lungworms, liver flukes, cattle grubs, oestrosis, and scabies.
The combination of ivermectin and clorsulon acts as an effective antiparasitic agent. Ivermectin is classified in the family of drugs called anthelmintics. It works by inhibiting the function of aspects of the nervous system within the parasite. This leads to its paralysis and then the death of the parasite.
Clorsulon belongs to the family of medicines known as benzenesulfonamides. Drugs within this category specifically target flukes.
