What is the Infectious Serositis + E. Coli Vaccine?
Active Ingredients: Riemerella anatipestifer Inactivated Bacteria, E. Coli Inactivated Bacteria
Infectious Serositis of Duck + Escherichia Coli Disease Vaccine is a combination vaccine used for immunizing poultry against certain strains of the Riemerella anatipestifer and Escherichia coli bacteria. Without immunization, infection with these diseases may cause death, decreased egg production, or other problems.
Riemerella anatipestifer is a gram-negative bacteria belonging to the Flavobacteriaceae family. It is easily spread through direct contact or through contaminated water, feed, or equipment. Riemerella anatipestifer (RA) infection is also known as new duck disease, duck septicemia, anatipestifer syndrome, anatipestifer septicemia, and infectious serositis.
Escherichia coli is an anaerobic gram-negative bacteria belonging to the Enterobacteriaceae family. It is responsible for common infectious diseases in poultry, such as Colibacillosis, omphalitis, salpingitis, and septicemia. Young birds are particularly susceptible to E. coli infections, and it is spread by direct contact or through contaminated feed, water, or equipment.
The Infectious Serositis of Duck + Escherichia Coli Disease Vaccine is an inactivated vaccine. After administration, the antigens will trigger the animal's immune system, which allows it to develop antibodies against the virus. This helps reduce the likelihood of infection when the animal comes into contact with specific strains of the bacteria.
