How much Activated Charcoal should be given to an animal?
The usual dosage is as follows:
- Below 5 pounds: about 1/4 bolus
- 5-12 pounds: about 1/2 bolus
- 12-25 pounds: about 1 bolus
- 25-50 pounds: about 2 boluses
- 50-100 pounds: about 3 boluses
- 100-150 pounds: about 4 boluses
- Over 150 pounds: about 8 boluses
