Podophyllotoxin Cream is a topical antiviral used to treat genital and anal warts. It is not indicated for HPV treatment without external warts. This medication will not cure the infection and patients may develop similar symptoms in the future. It will not prevent the spreading of the virus through skin-to-skin contact.
Podophyllum is made from certain plants such as American mandrake, May apple, and Duck's foot.
