What is Mesna?
Active Ingredients: Mesna
Mesna Injection is a cytoprotective drug used in cancer chemotherapy. It helps protect the bladder and kidneys from hemorrhagic cystitis, a serious side effect of certain anticancer drugs like ifosfamide. Mesna does not change the effect of these antineoplastics, but it does make them less harmful to the body.
Mesna is a sulfhydryl compound that works to detoxify acrolein, a urotoxic byproduct, that accumulates in the bladder.
AdvaCare Pharma is a global distributor and manufacturer of Mesna Injection. This drug is produced in our GMP-certified facilities in China, India, and the USA.
