What is CK-MB Test Kit?
A CK-MB Test Kit is a medical diagnostic tool used for detecting creatinine kinase-myocardial band (CK-MB) in a patient's blood. CK-MB is a form of creatine kinase released by the heart muscle when it is damaged. This type of test is conducted to diagnose or monitor heart attacks and other heart-related conditions.
The CK-MB test kit is produced as a cassette that features a lateral flow assay, which provides rapid results that is ideal for point-of-care settings.
AdvaCare Pharma is the supplier of CK-MB Test Kits, which are manufactured in ISO and CE-certified facilities in India, China, and the USA. Every facility is regularly inspected to ensure they are compliant with healthcare standards for quality and safety.

Specimen
For Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma specimens, the collection can be done using either standard venipuncture (2 drops) or fingerstick (50 μL) techniques. In the case of serum or plasma samples, the collected sample is transferred to the designated area of the cassette after centrifugation. This can be done using a capillary tube or dropper. Once the specimen is in place, a drop of the corresponding buffer dilution is immediately added to the cassette to initiate the testing process.
Form
Cassette consists of a plastic container that has a test strip inside. There is a designated area for sample placement and a window in which the results can be read.
The test strip enclosed inside of the plastic box has reagents that react with CK-MB in the blood to produce a measurable signal, either positive, negative, or invalid, as indicated by lines on the test strip.
Why are we a quality CK-MB Test Kit manufacturer?
AdvaCare Pharma is a global manufacturer and supplier of CK-MB Test Kit, which are a part of the AccuQuik™ branded line of diagnostic detection devices. A STED dossier accompanies each of our products, providing confidence to our partners and distributors that our medical instruments meet the highest standards. AdvaCare Pharma is a CE and ISO-compliant manufacturer of creatine kinase-MB test kits.

We stand out from other large-scale global distribution companies by implementing a vested supplier-distributor relationship. Currently, our distribution network spans 65 markets worldwide.
Uses
How should a CK-MB Test Kit be used?
1. Collect whole blood, serum, or plasma specimen from the patient. 2. Use a dropper/capillary tube to apply the sample to the designated area on the cassette. 3. Add the buffer to the sample area. 4. Wait for the recommended time and interpret the results.
How should a used CK-MB Test Kit be disposed of?
After use, the CK-MB test kit should be placed in a biohazard bag. After the bag is sealed tightly, the outside should be disinfected. It should be discarded in a designated medical waste container.
How should CK-MB Test Kits be stored?
Unused test kits should be stored in a dry location at room temperature. They should be kept in their original packaging until use.
FAQs
How does a CK-MB Test Kit work?
The test features an immunochromatographic assay, which contains antibodies that will bind to CK-MB in the sample.
What is CK-MB?
Creatine kinase is an enzyme that is released whenever there is damage to the muscles in the body, and creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) is one of three forms of that enzyme. When there is damage to the heart muscle cells, this isoenzyme is released into the bloodstream and thus is detectable on a ck-mb test.
Why would a CK-MB Test Kit be used instead of a CK test?
A CK (Creatine Kinase) test would be able to show the level of all three types of creatine kinase, but a CK-MB would be able to determine whether that muscle damage is specifically heart-related.
Who should be tested with a CK-MB Test Kit?
It is recommended to test patients who have increased creatine kinase to determine whether it is skeletal or heart muscle damage. It is also typically used for patients who are suspected of having a second heart attack or other conditions that have caused damage to the heart muscle.
Are there any factors that may interfere with the results of a CK-MB Test Kit?
Yes, there are certain medical conditions that may interfere with a CK-MB diagnostic test, such as hemolysis or lipemia. High levels of bilirubin, rheumatoid factor, or other intramuscular enzymes like aldolase or SGOT may cause interference. While heparin, especially in high doses, can falsely elevate CK-MB levels.
